The three leadership workshops below I do regularly - all modular in design and use an applied learning group coaching approach. I am also happy to co-collaborate to design something that best fits your talent's learning and development needs or design a custom executive team retreat experience. Let’s chat about your desired outcomes and go from there!

Changing the Feedback Experience

In this workshop we’ll look at positive psychology and some key concepts within such as strength based coaching, solution focused inquiry and defining desired outcomes along with a close look at human systems and importance of systems support. In turn you will learn various ways you can approach feedback differently to garner not only a more productive result, but a far more positive one as well.

Essential Strategies for Leadership

Using a variety of insights into what makes a successful leader, this workshop tailors aspects of leadership, communication, relationship building and team management to the role of a manager inside of a communications company. It is ideal for anyone who is looking to grow his or her strategic leadership skills. This is an interactive workshop that will push people to leave feeling empowered and inspired to make a difference with their team, their client/account and most importantly within themselves.

Building Your Leadership Brand

In a sink or swim industry we often learn by those who came before us – which may or may not be the most effective way. We bring our past experience, and our own stories, into our leadership style and sometimes that gets in our way. In this interactive workshop, we draw parallels to the process of developing a brand and bringing it to market to how you are the manager of your own brand as well as your team. We focus on developing critical communication skills, strengthening emotional intelligence and fostering a positive work environment through the lens of being a creative leader.

Recommended: 1 full day workshop: 8:30am–4:00pm
Location: on-site at the agency
Group Size: up to 12 people

“In just a 2-hour session on the Shift Positive feedback method, employees walked away with an "ah-ha" moment. Jen has taught us to constantly ask ourselves to “visualize what success looks like” in our daily interactions with peers and direct reports, and that's helped steer conversations in a more productive manner.”
Jeryn Blossom, Director of Employee Services, Pereira O’Dell

“Jen recently led a management team retreat for our agency. She spent a lot of time learning about our needs, and customized a 2-day session that was both inspiring and productive. Jen has great energy and a wonderful sense of humor that immediately put the group at ease and removed any barriers to accomplishing what we'd set out to do. I felt like we got way more than we had expected, thanks to Jen's commitment.”
Alan Brown, Co-Founder + CEO, DNA

“Jen led a fantastic leadership development workshop for approximately 40 management personnel at our most recent semiannual management meeting. We all left the meeting with action items that we could execute immediately to improve our leadership skills and strengthen our relationships with our team members.”
Lee Holzman, President,
Reliable Credit Association, Inc.

“Jen’s work with us was instrumental in making core foundational changes in how our management team thinks about their roles, their aspirations and their contributions to our collective success.”
Bill Mulligan, President,
Chameleon / An Omnicom Agency

“Jen is a wonderful training partner for our emerging leaders program. The feedback and learnings she shares following her training is invaluable in making HR and the leadership aware of potential areas of focus to sustain employee engagement as well as inform future training initiatives. Not many trainers I have worked with have been as thorough and thoughtful in sharing feedback and highlighting opportunities as Jen. The employees who went through her course benefitted greatly in that they became more cognizant of how they manage their time and received practical tools and models to measure their effectiveness as leaders. We plan on bringing her back to train another level of our agency. I’m looking forward to working with her again!”
Annie Tahtinen, HR Director, Swirl

“I hired Jen to do management training for mid level and senior management at our agency. It was wildly successful. Her sessions provided our employees with a great amount of value. She created custom training sessions based on the each groups needs. We couldn't have been happier with the outcome.”
Amy Clawson, Director of HR & Operations at Butler Shine Stern & Partners

“Jen is a great, practical motivator for the real world. I found her inspiring and down-to-earth. Hers is a more personal approach than other coaches I've worked with.”
Eric Liebhauser, ACD at Butler Shine Stern & Partners

“We hired Jen for a full day of Leadership Training at Draftfcb and couldn't be more pleased with the day and the outcome. From the very first call with Jen, she was an amazing partner in helping us craft our goals and the day's agenda, and the feedback from participants was more than positive. Jen is smart, pragmatic, thoughtful, creative, adaptable, personable, and genuinely cares - everything you'd want in a Trainer and Coach. We're looking forward to continuing the success of our Training Program with her.”
Stephanie Warne, Recruiting Manager, Draftfcb SF
